Inner Child Inspirational quote of the day.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

~Buddha ~

That is why your child within helps, because she/he brings her/his dreams into the present. Possessing it with a capacity to disconnect from what happened yesterday even if it was painful. I always admired that versatility and sense of wonder in children. They are our best model.

We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit.

~E. E. Cummings~

Dan Kennedy, one of my mentors always says that if you don’t have anybody believing in you, you need to get that person presto! Because to plug in to your passionate contribution to the world you need to believe in yourself first. Your Inner Child needs the acknowledgment to start wondering, in spontaneous delight.

It was through the feeling of wonder that men  now and at first began to philosophize.

~Aristotle~

And I ask you:  Where does that feeling of wonder come from if not from the wondrous child we all carry within. That child that came with the connection to divinity. That child who was taken away from that connection and needs to remember he is not only  entitled to it, but has the vital need to reconnect with it to put his/her own sense of wonder to work for your passion  to contribute.
