If you aren’t playing well, the game isn’t as much fun. When that happens I tell myself just to go out and play as I did when I was a kid.

~Thomas J. Watson~

There you go, one of the many business men who completely understands that there is nothing like a business partnership with your Inner Child :)

Life must be lived as play.

~Plato~

As in bringing back your Inner Child…as if it was the play of your own unique story being you the main character, ready for opening night after rehearsal. The moment of acknowledging your mission, your purpose, your passion.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

~Buddha ~

That is why your child within helps, because she/he brings her/his dreams into the present. Possessing it with a capacity to disconnect from what happened yesterday even if it was painful. I always admired that versatility and sense of wonder in children. They are our best model.

A man’s work is nothing but this slow trek to rediscover, through the detours of art, those two or three great and simple images in whose presence his heart first opened.

~Albert Camus ~

Yes, the simple images, coming out of your heart, at that moment before you lost the innocence. When your Inner Child was manifesting through the detours of art, the language of the soul.

This kind of forgetting does not erase memory, it lays the emotion surrounding the memory to rest.

~Clarissa Pinkola Estes~

Clarissa is one of my heroes.  She wrote “Women who ran with the wolves” a book that every woman should read, and every man for that matter. This quote is the one I am talking about when I say that real forgiveness comes from the adopting of your own Inner Child because that act is what will help put the memory to rest. You will remember, without the hole in the stomach, the reason is you took care to fill that hole with yourself!

The child must know that he is a miracle, that since the beginning of the world there hasn’t been, and until the end of the world there will not be, another child like him.

~Pablo Casals ~

Pablo Casals lived a long fulfilled life walking in his full musician and composer potential. Somehow he received that message along the way and believed it.

…And here is the thing. If you are one of the majority of us, most likely you didn’t receive that clear message from society nor your parents, nor did they from their parents, because we all did the best we could with what we had. Now, if that vital message is missing in your thought process, it is your obligation to yourself and to humankind to speak it out loud crystal clear to your Inner Child.

“You are  miracle, that since the beginning of the world there hasn’t been, and until the end of the world there will not be, another child like you…” and the world is waiting for your unique authentic contribution. Think it, feel it, believe it, behave like it embody it in your character and your destiny!

My parent’s divorce and hard times at school, all those things combined to mold me, to make me grow up quicker. And it gave me the drive to pursue my dreams that I wouldn’t necessarily have had otherwise.

~Christina Aguilera ~

This is so wise. Our circumstance as Christina says, mold us for better or worse. But what we are entitled to, is to following our dream. So, my friend, What is your talent? What is your dream? How are you going to start molding it today. With the help of your Inner Child, who holds the secrets of your creativity, and will help you remember your purpose, to voice it to the world. Out loud. The truth? The world is waiting for you.

Fortunately, somewhere between chance and mystery lies imagination, the only thing that protects our freedom, despite the fact that people keep trying to reduce it or kill it off altogether.

~Luis Bunuel~

Replenish your imagination. No matter what. It is your most precious personal asset. It is the link between divinity and your soul purpose. When you are ready, your Inner Child will be there waiting for you to launch your passion into the world with faithful courage, and then is when the world will have the privilege of finding out about the fascinating forms of your dream ignited by your imagination.

Children also have artistic ability, and there is wisdom in there having it! The more helpless they are, the more instructive are the examples they furnish us; and they must be preserved free of corruption from an early age.

~Paul Klee ~

Think about that, do we have societies on this planet which systems are dedicated to preserve children from corruption? Actually we have been carrying that corruption for generation after generation. It can be higher or lower in every particular case but is corruption nevertheless. Because the vast majority of children on this planet are not given the entitlement of the attention and dedication they really need as children to become whole as adults. The thing is, to brake this pattern of behavior we have to start within. Eradicate our own corruption inside. Each of us reaching to acknowledge that child inside that was not acknowledged. She is waiting.
