So, WHY the Hawk Mindset?

May 12th, 2011 No Comments » Filed under The Hawk Mindset

It all started when I was collaborating with Ari Galper at Unlock the Game, coaching his  members.  Ari Galper’s amazingly human and genius 21st C Sales Coaching Program delivered in a magnificent coherent sequenced language based on trust at the human level incorporating the truth to the sales equation. How refreshing!

It became evident very rapidly that  just speaking the coherent and sequenced language Ari created for his UTG  members would not be enough for success in many people’ cases.  Because it is not enough  to speak  it . You have to think it and feel it before to reach your goal as a marketer to actually connect with your prospect at the human  level and are able to set the stage  to build trust with the truth. It requires a mindset shift on your part…

( We all have too many years thinking backwards in automatic pilot to be reversed)

It was then when I understood  that while the language is quite  important and I was so excited about  Ari’s content,  your thoughts being  the motor and direction of your full potential are crucial.  If you don’t mean it, it doesn’t mean anything. It is necessary to align the language with the thoughts and the feelings to actually convey the required message. Believe it or not  in my opinion that is a desperately needed training.

Unlock the Game Members  were mostly entrepreneurs, financial advisers,  insurance agents, internet marketers. network marketers. It was challenging to help them in 2,008  with the depression, the way the debacle of the economy started to unravel.  They needed serious help and a high dose of   innovative creativity to reconnect with an extremely skeptical marketplace.

For some people The Internal Dialogue needed to be reviewed in order to achieve their goals, actually articulating their authenticity through feeling and thinking the new language. Not only speaking it.

It’s not like you decide you’ll be authentic one day and voila, you are authentic. It requires the very nature of authenticity. Thinking, feeling and speaking it.

Ari supported me in the extra effort of  starting slowly introducing  them to the  mechanism needed to harness their thoughts to work for them instead of them.   The mechanism I have been applying for years. He trusted me to research with his members. I’ll be for ever grateful.

So, how does it work and foremost why the hawk?

Well, because the first step for success is to a is to monitor your thoughts . To monitor as many obsolete thoughts as possible. Obsolete thoughts are the ones that are irrelevant to the present time. More likely they are an emotional attachment from the past, an emotional attachment not allowing you to move forward as an adult. Serious!

So I would say to my clients:

“The first step to make sure you can succeed at  harnessing your thoughts  is to monitor them…like a hawk“. They are creating your reality at will every minute of every day for you. You need a hawk if the task is to monitor as many thoughts possible…

That is the story of  how the hawk’s role as the guardian of my own thoughts and my friends and clients thoughts,  was transferred to  the title of my newly developed  program. It was Michelle Finnegan, my coaching buddy at UTG and former UTG GM who suggested it. I had discussed  with her the image of  the hawk and she loved the powerful symbolism. “Why don’t you name the program after the hawk” she said in one of the multiple conversations we had over the last 3 years. I loved it! She was so right! It deserved the recognition because without the attributes that you  model  from the hawk you are not able to make it.  Simple as that. You need a fearless partner with keen vision to catch as many thoughts as possible. :::))) That is the secret.

The Hawk also reminds you never to disconnect from nature again.

For the ones of you who don’t know anything about “The Hawk Mindset”,  IT IS A Transformational Training for Entrepreneurs who want to become “Thought Masters” and harness their thoughts to work for them instead of against them securing success in their business.  The program is divided in 3  fundamental  modules.

Module 1: “Thought/Heart  Mastery”  The science of  thoughts and feelings and the mechanism to align your hearts and feelings

Module 2“The Seven Pillars of Thought, the Foundation of the Mindset”

Revaluation of 7 universal principles: Truth, Acknowledgment, Fear, Judgment, Errors,  Clarity, Self Responsibility.

Module 3 :  “Your Inner Child in charge of your Internal Visionary Team”

To never forget again the creativity codes of your right brain hidden in your own  Inner Child and guide your way back to Love Unity and Cooperation.

My purpose is to inspire you to reconnect with  your Inner Driving Force by helping create your Internal Visionary Team. You see, as entrepreneurs we need a Visionary Team. It just makes sense to start with creating your  Internal Visionary Team first. How is a dissociated person inside going to have a coherent Visionary Team outside without associating the dissociated inside first. Think about it…

So the idea is to create an internal trinity. The  hawk model sitting @ your left hand and your Inner Child sitting @  your right hand. Yes, visualize it. For once  acknowledging that it is not about the right hand or the left hand only any more….it is about incorporating both hands…both brains…the left and the right represented in your hands. Acknowledging the importance of both…makes sense?  How does it feel…? In other words,  Your Inner Child in charge of your Internal Visionary Team and the Hawk model the guardian of your Thoughts.

As I was saying, Module 1“Thought Masters”, actually empowers you to train yourself  to become a Black Belt Thought Master.

The beauty is that the hawk has a lot to teach you.

WHY?

Because the Hawk IS Messenger, protector, visionary, has keen vision, and is open to new ideas.

So, AGAIN,  reinforcing my original visual with the Hawk as the Guardian of your Thoughts within the program to help you monitor them, led me to  go a step further and  incorporate the hawk in  the title. After the name was decided,

the first thing I did was the keyword research of the word “hawk” and found the collective consciousness revealed something far more interesting than I expected. Just google the word “hawk” and you will find a lot of meaningful conversation along with 167.000.000 hits.

It feels to me a lot of people other than me are having a conversation with  hawks these days…(huge smile) after all, people are awakening to the fact that we are all one and any perception of separation is an illusion. The interesting thing is that I hear more and more persons who are fascinated by the hawk’s message and the numbers seem to be growing…it almost feels like  hawks as a species are on a mission to give us a message and we are finally open to receive its call. I love it!

In any case it  is time to go back to the basics…Primitive cultures modeled animal behaviors, and transformed certain animals into totems. Powerful symbolism has come in the form of animals and their behaviors throughout thousands of years, transforming them in our teachers.   There is a reason for that. Contrary to the across the board educational system,  we human beings learn through modeling behaviors, not by being lectured. We human beings are one with nature…there is no separation.

Nature is a symphony of knowledge singing before our eyes.  Ready to be read all over again.

The Hawk happens to be the ultimate model to help integrate the right brain and the left brain. In other words to integrate a clear perception of the big picture, critical thinking, and co-creative spirit into your thinking, feeling and speaking. At all times.

Here are a list  of 12 excerpts coming  from different voices  of different people and their perception of the lessons the hawk brings us and about  why  the Hawk’s sacred message to us is important to be modeled and feels so organic:

1) Keen vision is one of its greatest gifts. Hawks see things others miss.

2) The hawk comes to you indicating that you are now awakening to your soul purpose, your reason for being here. It can teach you how to fly high while keeping yourself connected to the ground.

3) As you rise to a higher level, your psychic energies are awakening and the hawk can help you to keep those senses in balance. Its message for you is to be open to hope and new ideas, to extend the vision of your life.

4) The Hawk is an animal of flight. It soars through the air looking down, and sees everything. It has a larger perspective of what is going on down below. With its keen eyesight, it looks down as it soars through the air looking for its prey. It can see the smallest of creatures below.

5) The Hawk is known as a messenger, similar to the planet Mercury, for the hawk soars close to the Grandfather Sun, as does the planet. When you listen to the power of the Grandfather Sun or Wise Spirit that lives within, you are protected from all types of harm.

6) The Hawk teaches you to be observant and take a close look at your surroundings. It soars with the power to overcome difficult situations. It soars in circles over the life of the earth, asking you to circle over your life and view it from a higher perspective.

7) The Hawk has a distinct cry, one that most people are aware of. Its cry signifies awareness. If you hear the cry of the hawk use your intuitive ability to discern the message and seek the truth.

8) If a hawk has soared into your life, you require a higher perspective. You need to see the details of what is going on and look at the bigger picture. Take a look at your situation from above.

9) Specifically, the hawk beckons us to hone our focus on the areas that are out of balance in our lives. Recognition is the first step to solution.

10) Furthermore, the hawk is a solar animal which makes it kin to all the attributes summed up by fire and sun. Attributes such as brilliance, clarity, energy, and unification.

11) In Dreams , hawks represent our yearning for freedom and clarity and is often considered a message from the subconscious to use our intellectual power to obtain the freedom we desire in our lives.

12) The hawk asks us to be aware of the power each of us has over others. Further, we must each respect our potential positions of authority (leadership) and honor all those with whom we interact.

Again, these are statements that I selected because they represent your voice. Each one from a different site.

You get the idea ? These excerpts although  somewhat reiterative, portray the clarity of the idea and how the hawk’s message is penetrating the collective consciousness.

Because of all of those powerful reasons, “The Hawk Mindset” was born…The Hawk will  help you align your left brain with your right brain. Harnessing your thoughts to work for you instead of against you. I tell you, I have done it. With myself  first and also with numerous people. The beauty is that once most of your determining  thoughts, feelings and language  are aligned within yourself, to work for you, you become the hawk.  His behavior transpires in your actions. Like with Shakespeare after a mindful rehearsal period of Hamlet…You become Hamlet. You are ready for Opening Night. Now  you are trained to assert the Hawk’s attributes… It was one training away:

  • Attention
  • Vision
  • Power
  • Energy
  • Leadership
  • Intensity

They are all yours! Congratulations, You have become a Black Belt Thought Master running automatically in your Internal Visionary Team guided by your friend the hawk who helped you understand the oneness of all things and to associate the dissociated inside out. That is why the Hawk is a necessity as your left hand.

I bet  by now you are probably thinking, “ok that is the hawk but what’s up with  your right hand then…?  Why Your Inner Child ?”

your Inner Child becomes internally Your right  hand, but that is another story

Your Inner Child is to become the Head of your Internal Visionary Team. That is Module 3.

Here you can find more information about  WHY your Inner Child, your right hand.

http://www.soulhangout.net/whyyourinnerchildinchargeofyourvisionaryteam/

If you really want to get into the Inner Child deeper, here is my long sales letter featuring the Inner Child. You will love it! I would love your feedback on it:

So we have  covered Modules 1 and 3. I know you have a question by now.  If we have covered Module  1 & 3  featuring the hawk and the inner child already, what  is Module 2 then…right ?

The reason why I didn’t list its content before  is because it is crucial in its position between the Thought Masters guided by the Hawk and the Inner Child Managing your Internal Visionary Team. The middle of the two. The glue between the two. Nurturing and guiding both. The Pillars of Thought, the Foundation of the Mindset.

So, so far we have your right arm and your left arm to guide you, working together to expedite your business success.

What you need now is a foundation of thought. The pillars of your new Mindset. Your new mental model.

Module 2, IS COMPOSED OF The 7 pillars in the Magic Middle Line Between the 50’s.  Right in the middle, like the temple of  source. I picked 7 universal concepts to help you create a foundation of thought seeded in  new cooperative guidelines and conscious co-creative coherence. The Pillars will be your map. Your brand new Thought  Foundation.

If you want to know more about the “Seven Pillars of Thought”, Here  is a link to my blog talk radio program, where the 7 pillars were spontaneously created.  Where  I have had 1 different  conversation  about each one of the  pillars with Neal Worthington, while they were revealing to me as Module 2. Little did I know then  that that radio program was going to end up being module 2. (I love the creative process)  Here  are the above mentioned pillars of thought. Your foundation.

  • Acknowledgment
  • Truth
  • Fear
  • Judgment
  • Errors
  • Clarity
  • Self Responsibility

The Three Modules of  “The Hawk Mindset” are becoming 3 books. The Trilogy of Thought. I will keep you posted.

Start up Entrepreneur’s Live Thoughts Out Loud

THE INNER CHILD ..

I was born on March 9th, of the year 1949 in Santiago, Chile. The city of the valleys  surrounded by mountains. In the winter, those mountains were covered with snow. When the sun came out of his hiding place behind the clouds, and lit the snow on its thick  coat on the mountains, against the clear blue sky they just  reflected the immaculate shine of their whiteness on us, the inhabitants of the city, as if they were reminding us to celebrate the powerful star in the center of our universe.

Exacerbating its brightness to the point that your eyes would almost get blinded with such clarity. As if they wanted to remind us of our own brightness and immaculate whiteness.

Bringing the message of the heart from the Condor from the South.

That is perhaps one of the things I miss the most about Santiago. The joy of the snowy mountains on a winter sunny day. Every time I go visit, I secretly hope the next day will be sunny and bring that memory and magnificently comforting  feeling of my childhood. I can’t stop admiring them and talking about their majesty. My nieces laugh at me. They are used to them. They never left them for good. They see them with different eyes.

My early childhood went by,  surrounded by flowers, butterflies, Swiss cotton, velvet, and organza, music, ballet, Spanish dance, and tango, books, buttons, Nannies who brought  great stories from the South, Hungarian Gypsies trying to read your hand for a couple of coins, and a black cat named Nino.

Festive gatherings with friends and the large basque clan carrying my father’s ancestors, my two little brothers, parents who called me the little golden girl and meant it, godparents who taught me how to imagine  enchanted faraway cities from Paris to the Berlin before the 1st world war, passing by London and Rome,  Kyoto and Delhi. The sharing of their  foreign traveling experience.

You have to understand, Chile’s geographic location  is so far away, that makes  people living in the valley surrounded by mountains dream of ancient places afar, like European and Asian cities.

Now, when I look back, I see clearly why I ended focusing in the Inner Child as in starting a movement by divulging the imperative need to take action to re-parent it, for all of us. It was Alice Miller who scientifically confirmed what I believed with all my heart. In a phrase,  “violence is not genetic”.

I was privileged to have a good life foundation for the first 9 years of my life. I think I lost the innocence when I was 7.  That is when everything started falling apart.

By then, the entitlement of being and feeling the center of that universe was already imprinted in my soul.  I still had my full emotional integrity. That is what helped keep my Inner Child pure, creative, innocent, using out of the box and critical thinking no matter how much resistance I encountered in the outside world.  No matter how much the rejection to innovation that used to feel so personal hurt. No matter how much I felt like I was coming from another planet. No matter how her soul was broken in a thousand pieces.

Critical thinking was very important for my parents.

They were always expressing and verbalizing their passion for Philosophy, History,  Art and Metaphysics,  the eternal question of “why are we here”, was often asked and thoughtfully attempted to be answered in deep and satisfying conversations.  They incorporated reading very early in my childhood.

I attended a private German School for girls subsidized by the German government. Even though the happenings were in the middle of the 20th Century, it was a very progressive school. For those nuns it  was about educating thinking women who stand out of the pack. They had a very ambitious and expansive curriculum.

My parents’ traumatic divorce at 9 caught me with an armor of love that helped deal with the bruises and blood shed of separation and competition. An out of the ordinary  foundation of unity laughter and love. I guess at some level I could hear my Inner Child’s voice,  Grace, almost always, no matter how much I needed to bury her in pain.

How was it possible that all of that world I lived in was suddenly broken for the rest of my life, and I had to learn to accept living with it. What a cheat!!! . How one does throw such a quality of life down the drain. It was hard to understand. Not only for me, for the entire family. Some people speculate that it was too perfect, and they still tell the story in disbelief.

After 9,  it always felt like the behaviors of the adults were too conditioned to things they didn’t even know they carried inside from their parents. I could feel the wounded Inner Child very early on, starting with my parents. Perhaps because mine was always acknowledged prior to the separation, I  refused to at least consciously turn my back to her.  Unconsciously her emotional integrity was broken. Even though she was even though she was not always acknowledged,  her fire was present all of the time.

That is one thing I am grateful for my parents. I don’t think I could have made it the same way without that dreamy contented full foundation of the first years. I was always extremely empathetic and conscious of people’ Inner Child pain.  Soon,  a natural coach developed in me.  She was the person everybody came to when they had a problem. My openness, authenticity and passion for the truth made people trust me in a very easy way.

So, by the time I started Soul Hangout, all my friends were saying “It is about time”

December 19th 2010.

When the cards were laid in 2007, and I counted on all of my time,  24/7 to think about my tribe business model and its contribution to sustainability, I asked myself the question. What is the theme closest to your heart what is the theme closest to your experience what is the one that will make the most impact. What is the story you want to tell every day with all your heart for the next 2 years, or 10 years.

The truth is, I have lived such a diverse life that gave me the opportunity to master so many different crafts  in the self improvement industry, that it was difficult to choose. It required some thinking. Self Improvement is one of the leading industries and the most important one for this time and age. We need to train our thoughts to re invent the world…because it is a new world.  It requires a new language coming from new thinking.

So, again, what is the thing in your life repertoir that will ignite your passion to get up in the morning every day with a renewed expanded energy, the thing that you see as your purpose and is bigger than you. Nothing less of that or short of that is worth living. Not worth living. Very simple.

Don’t you want to say that you are done living a depending, useless, and without purpose life?  For me it was like that. It is not worth one more minute working for some corporation with the only purpose of making a living. Not worth it one more minute, totally worth to explore no matter what happens and how many bumps on the road I encounter. Bigger than me. Way bigger. It scares some people. But that is another story.

So, my dear friend, here are the 4 questions again.

What is the thing you will pick to be the icon of your life purpose? What is the closest to your heart, what is the closest to your experience, what is the one that will create more impact and most of all which one is the one that will make you jump out of bed in the morning riding the wave of  your full potential and passion to create?

…Passion to create and purpose are one of those things like being born and dying. You have your own reasons, it is your journey.   Somehow you do it alone, and invite people to celebrate, cooperate and share with once it is born. You need support with that process.

You need the support that understands there is no conditioning in that support. Instead, complete respect for your vision. The respect you have for your vision.  The respect that a friend of Thomas Edison would have showed when he witnessed the 5,000 time of trial of  the fluorescent bulb, and patiently would be willing to extend the support  5,000 more times if it was necessary. That kind of support. Any other support, is detrimental. So if you encounter it, run away from it. It interferes.

Here is an article I wrote about Thomas Edison and his 10,000 tries.

http://www.soulhangout.net/what-would-you-have-said-if-your-were-thomas-edisons-friend-at-the-5000-try/

December 26th 2010.

Some people have asked me to blog more often.  While I am creating service products, actual info products and books, and using most of my time in sales letters and other content marketing materials, I want to let you all know that I will be doing it more  often  by the beginning of the next year. Once the systems are in place and working.

Thanks for all your great comments and encouragement. Some people are interested in expanding the conversation of the Inner Child as in charge of the visionary team. It will come very soon.

Thanks so much to Soul Hangout followers and members. Have a happy holiday and a new mindfully coherent co-creative year in 2011.

Tuesday 20th of April 2011.

It has been 4 years and 3 months since I started to work full time on my life purpose. That is the time it took to research and co-create in coherence “The Hawk Mindset” . The only trans formative Thought Masters training for Entrepreneurs to ignite their passion to contribute and full creativity.

It was like having thousands of keynotes in my head that I was to use to create my own melody. The melody of my unique experience expanded in marketing words that would come from the bottom of my soul from the writer and the coach inside . At times it was hard to do. They seemed too many keynotes…

No way they all belong to only one program… Well, I was wrong…every piece I have written, every conversation I have had, every quote I have thought of, every article came form the wholeness of what now is the The Hawk Mindset. Everything fits in one comprehensive program. I am the first one surprised.

It is something like walking with the burning desire with its perception of the big picture and the blind faith sustaining all my doubts emerging from the doubts from the small picture.

What is fascinating is that today I am thrilled to announce that each single key note had a fundamental place in the finished product. Each single letter enhances the tone to the next in the wholeness of my newly found sequenced language. Launching very soon. Thanks to all for the great support

If you aren’t playing well, the game isn’t as much fun. When that happens I tell myself just to go out and play as I did when I was a kid.

There you go, one of the many business men who completely understands that there is nothing like a business partnership with your Inner Child :)

Inner Child Inspirational quote of the day.

My parent’s divorce and hard times at school, all those things combined to mold me, to make me grow up quicker. And it gave me the drive to pursue my dreams that I wouldn’t necessarily have had otherwise.

~Christina Aguilera ~

This is so wise. Our circumstance as Christina says, mold us for better or worse. But what we are entitled to, is to following our dream. So, my friend, What is your talent? What is your dream? How are you going to start molding it today. With the help of your Inner Child, who holds the secrets of your creativity, and will help you remember your purpose, to voice it to the world. Out loud. The truth? The world is waiting for you.

It seems Millennials are adding its real value to their use of their time

August 4th, 2010 4 Comments » Filed under Acknowledgement

soulhangout

I believe  Millennials  are conveying to us all,  especially Boomers a very clear and vital message… Seems to me, they are feeling and speaking out loud their vision with regard their use of their time as adults. If you ask me, that is serious business. They realize the most sacred wealth they have is their time. They, consequently are evaluating very carefully how they invest their time as adults. Very responsible thinking so far, right?

Looks like they value their time and freedom more than any other generation. Definitely more than the Boomers. Looks like they are choosing to give more  value to time, than stuff, for a change. Looks like they are not willing to compromise 1 secondd of their wealth of time to an unworthy cause.

Looks like they are willing to plant the seeds of meaning and presence into their use of their time.

Looks like they are actively choosing to do this in a collective way.

Stop for a minute and think about it. Meaning, attached to the use of your time. What a concept, hah? !…When was the last time you attached meaning to the use of all of your time. Not only a few hours on the weekend spared minutes here and there between chores…How refreshing.

The question is “What is meaningful for Millennials”? Turns out what is meaningful for Millennials is the same values on which the new economy, the new marketing and the new sales paradigm is based.  What is that?

Relationships, relationships, relationships. Interesting.

That includes friends, family and parenthood.

Looks like a big house is not a priority on the list for Millennials as it was for us. They lived for years in that empty  either big or small house, accompanied by the TV screen, their video games,  taking refuge in their peers company.

Remember? Perhaps you forgot. I didn’t. Nobody ever mentioned this element in all the studies about Millennials I have seen in the Internet.

I remember the look in their eyes when they finally got to become teenagers. It was screaming: “Who do you think you are” or “What planet did you come from”.  I can only imagine what was going through their minds while we mortgaged, polluted the earth and were on the way, still are to destroy the world.

After all, ultimately, what is it we humans really have or possess in life. We are born naked and we leave naked, no matter how much they dress your body up to show you to the world for the last time in the day of your view.

In between your birth and your death, the only wealth you and I really possess is our time, and the only purpose we really have is  in the choice of what we do with it. Simple as that. I don’t know bout you, but it sure makes sense to me.

People say Millennials are the “entitlement trophy kids”

How easy we forget when we were not present.  How easy we forget when we forget to acknowledge. How easy we forget how we felt. What we felt and  Why we felt it. That is what I call convenient amnesia.

People forgot that while it is true Millennials  got a lot of stuff, and a lot of praise, and a lot of technology, their sense of entitlement comes from something bigger than them.  A very good thing, actually to celebrate, bigger than us also, for that matter. It comes from their own honored right brain/left brain in partnership experience. It comes from:

The authority of their Soul.

People forget that while they achieved the golden “Trophies”, absorbed the praise, scored a goal in the soccer field, and listened to the “I love yous” on the way to work, they were watching us. They were looking into our eyes,  and believe it or not, the brightness of the golden metal of the trophy, frankly,   didn’t impress them.  It didn’t fool them like it had fooled us either. Because what they didn’t get was the entitlement, yes, entitlement of the time they so much longed and craved from their parents. Their parents who were too busy giving all  the wealth of their time away to the corporation they worked for. For what? For a bunch of stuff, the chimera that didn’t bring any happiness in the end.

Because we all know the story of the Corporate workaholic CEO of the 80’s. He is today,  in 2010 in the aftermath of his busy life he complaining and regretting out loud that he ended up alone with his dog. Why? Because his kids ended up becoming  strangers and he simply didn’t have the time to develop a relationship with them. While this is extreme, we all sinned  a little bit and a lot of that. Where there are no watered seeds there is no plant to grow.

People forgot to ask Millennials about how they felt during those teenage years watching the world we, the previous generations were leaving  behind. Trying to figure out the mess we were creating in that very moment. People forget that giving a corporation 50 hours a week or more of your physical time, plus who knows how much more of your thinking time, doesn’t leave much room for spending time with your children,  we both know there are so many hours in a day. You used the best of them already, doing something pretty irrelevant to your soul and your child

And people forgot that our children need us and were entitled to our time and attention because in the end, love is not  lip service. It is attention. Presence. That is what love really is. These are the formation years of their lives. The seven first years of a child he/she is entitled to the 100% amount of attention that makes them believe they are the center of the universe.  Because they are at that moment. They are entitled to be the center of the universe at 4. They are our future. There was a philosopher who said give me a child for the first 7 years of his/her life and then you do whatever you want with them. It is silent the message we are leaving them with our actions the one that hurts the most.

Attention and presence. Not absence filled with empty words in an empty house is what every child in the world needs, the way you need water to survive. For the first seven years. That is where we were mistaken. We thought there was not going to be a price to pay for that. The truth is, if you don’t satisfy that need in childhood,  you end up with a whole generation that never grew out of it. An entire generation pushing to be the center of the universe in adulthood. Behaving like children. That is what Millennials see so clearly us doing. They don’t want to repeat the monumental mistakes we are repeating because is clear to them we are going to destroy the world if we keep doing it. We all know that this world is not sustainable the way it is any more.

They are not having a tantrum or being  spoiled brats. They are making a conscious choice about the quality of life they envision. They want to make sure we don’t continue doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

I am so grateful to them for championing the meaningful use of time. It is a very worthy cause. People also forget that if we all  did that,  Entrepreneurship based in a passion to contribute will grow, and we will create an actual sustainable and productive world. It is Very promising. You cannot create wealth without the value of the contribution. It is not sustainable long term.

How quickly we forget we created a casino and speculating based economy in front of their eyes.

The irony is that we the Boomers and Xers are paying  thousands of dollars to  gurus out there,  to acquire a mindset that will value yourself, your authenticity, and your time as the source of your wealth  because from there will come your passion to contribute. Telling us the way we choose to use our time will determine who we are.

I ask: Isn’t that what Millennials  are  actually proposing with their vision?  Interesting that millennials’ thinking and behaviors match exactly the model of the Entrepreneurial mindset. In the end, in order to attain  the real satisfaction in life for a job well done, happiness and wealth. There is no secret. It is about your passion and your time. Put the two together and watch what grows from there.

It’s interesting that most of Millennials values match perfectly with the new paradigm, flourishing together in this  era of cooperative and community oriented Entrepreneurship. A recipe for success for the entire planet.

It’s interesting that Millennials’ behavior show more self respect than we have ever imagine acquiring ourselves in a lifetime. We learn from other people’s modeling. I say we pay attention to Millennials to learn from their unprecedented modeling tone. They believe in their vision. Their life is at stake. They value their life. They are frugal, and their priorities are in the relationship.

They have another unprecedented trait. They completely understand that errors are part of the process of learning. They don’t carry the drama of the mea culpa we chose to buy in a large part, carrying it from our parents’ generation. If not in its same intensity, still pretty acute in our generation. Another very important element for success. Our automatic guilt in view of  our errors made a major blockage in the development of our knowledge, if not detained it completely in so many cases.

It actually shows very clearly where your priorities are. Don’t you think? Are your priorities the stuff?  Is your priority to feel you are contributing your passion to the world or you just want to continue to exchange the wealth of your time for a paycheck.

Isn’t a  youth willing to  change the paradigm to self respect, honesty, integrity and transparency  a gift?

I don’t understand why we can analyze the debacle of the economy and everything else that needs desperate change in the world, have it very clear, and when it comes to Millennials demanding some pretty basic and common sense stuff, to change the paradigm, fully sustainable for the future, all of the sudden seems we are living in a perfect world and “how dare they challenge it”.  It almost feels like we still perceive them as children and we are not ready to acknowledge them as adult thinking entities.

They are a century ahead of us. We should start paying attention.

This is the real question. I believe all Millennials need is a little guidance to figure out what their individual purpose is, they already have one voice in the collective consciousness and it is a very beautiful crystalline voice of co-creative coherence, community collaboration, critical thinking,  big picture thinking. The exact recipe for progress and innovation.

So, next time you think Millennials have a sense of entitlement, just applaud it and work with it. Exploring their vision of the world could be the most fascinating adventure you have ever imagined to embark on.

They are wired differently than we do. Their right brain is working together with their left brain. That is why they don’t understand our obsolete model of competition and separation. There is no separation inside their heads, except for some of the vestiges of our thinking and our parents’ thinking we planted in their heads.

And we all are responsible to pass the torch of SUSTAINABILITY to Millennials. They understand sustainability far better than we did.  Otherwise we would have done something to enhance it.  Obviously we still don’t understand fully, otherwise we would be embracing Millennials and supporting them in their historical musical keynote to advance  in the symphony of creation.

Inner Child Inspirational quote of the day.

July 29th, 2010 11 Comments » Filed under Inner Child Quote

“A quality education has the power to transform societies in a single generation, provide children with the protection they need from the hazards of poverty, labor exploitation and disease, and given them the knowledge, skills, and confidence to reach their full potential.”

~Audrey Hepburn~

Today, my friend, I want to envision this quote as the blueprint of the new world. Today I want to stop and create the image of a future world where every child’s full potential will be the priority. A world where no child will grow to become violent because his very entitled needs were not met. A world of peace where your Inner Child will become your partner at thriving and blossoming into the gorgeous flower you are. A world where your passion to contribute is important.

Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person.

~Mother Teresa ~

And guess what! That is what your Inner Child is craving for. That moment that you decide to honor those dreams he/she secretly entertains. Those dreams that speak of your enormous value and your needed contribution in the world. Those dreams that are ready to burst out and splash the world with your brilliance, those dreams that speak about cooperation and unity, not separation and competition. You, the millennial generation know that.

Natural ability without education has more often raised a man to glory and virtue than education without natural ability.

~Marcus T. Cicero ~

This is such a good point.  Especially in a culture that doesn’t honor natural abilities nor authenticity.  Every Inner Child inside of every adult is longing and waiting for us all to plug into our own  natural abilities, acknowledge them, honor them and use them to contribute to a better world, hand in hand  with your passion. The world is waiting for your natural abilities to be shared in coherence with his, co-creatively.

Inner Child Inspirational quote of the day.

I believe that you control your destiny, that you can be what you want to be. You can also stop and say, No, I won’t do it, I won’t behave his way anymore. I’m lonely and I need people around me, maybe I have to change my methods of behaving and then you do it.

~Leo Buscaglia ~

This is the key moment of enlightenment and self acceptance. The moment we choose ourselves and give birth to our new behaviors, inherent to our source and purpose, the ones that are only pertinent to us, over the ones we couldn’t help but inherit from our parents and society as a whole. The only power we have is to change our perceptions, since changing others belongs with their personal task, not ours.

Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.

Albert Einstein

It is time for us to awaken our own underrated asset of imagination, inherent to all of us and truncated along the way. To start imagining again, we need the help of our Inner Child. A happy and satisfied Inner Child will start imagining again embracing the entire world and all there ever will be to know and understand. This world needs  serious reinvention, and many imaginative people to collectively recreate the vision of the future we want to co-create.
