Open letter to Entrepreneurs

Dear Friend.

Thanks for participating in this experiential experiment to train yourself how to think like an Entrepreneur, and make the difference in the world. I am thrilled you are here. By the mere fact of  reading this communication now, you are choosing to be a part of  what I call the future “Black Belt Thought Masters”.

Congratulations for your commitment to Co-Create in Coherent Cooperation. To consciously create your vision, you need to have all your thoughts aware of your intention, cooperating with you.

The Buddah discovered that the direct causes of suffering are desire or craving and ignorance.

I want to elaborate on ignorance, as one important  root cause of pain.   Sometimes pain keeps you in a resistant mode that doesn’t allow for understanding there is a root cause creating that unbearable feeling, keeping you in the dark about the solution too. It turns out that most thinkers and philosophers throughout History would agree  with Buddah,  that the root cause of pain is ignorance in a major way. What you were not exposed to you don’t know. How could you know.

I couldn’t agree more. Ignorance represents darkness and knowledge represents light.  Knowledge alleviates the pain of Ignorance.  Like light alleviates the sense of darkness, by  revealing what is.

So, if  KNOWLEDGE  is the ANTIDOTE FOR  PAIN, when you  think about it,  being ignorant about your own power makes you feel  a major pain. Doesn’t it?  Most likely makes you feel powerless.  Because deep down inside you know you have it. You can feel it  and you are betraying your integrity when you pretend your power is not there.

This is in part what we are going to talk about during these 6 sessions in order to become Masters in the Art of the Entrepreneurial Mindset. We’ll talk about how to eradicate  the emotional attachment to pain. How to eradicate the drama from your life, by paying attention to your thoughts first, and the root cause of your pain.

Why? You may ask.  Because that way we will be able to focus with the laser beam of your enormously magnetic heart to take action co-creating coherence and purpose in your business. We will do this because it is necessary for you to align your thoughts, in order  to succeed.

We will do that to make sure we start using all of our energy into things that support your purpose. Not things that will keep you stuck and enhance procrastination, and the incapability to decide. We need thorough emotional detachment and crystal clear thought process.

I am not going to lie to you. This whole process will require a fundamental change in the way you think and perceive things. That change will encounter resistance like every other change.  We’ll walk through it together. One step at the time. This is why it is important to operate in co-creative circles of coherence. The process of thought is expedited, supported and multiplied when shared.

It is true the process  will require your full attention for sometime. Let’s say we are learning to ride a bicycle all over again. You will embark in that kind of a learning process. Until you learn. After that is only about automatically mastering it.

Remember  how it seemed eternal when you were going through the trial period, until you learned how to ride your first bike?

Remember the feeling when you finally rode that bike without extra wheels, or your loved one’s help? It was the feeling of freedom. You went from not knowing to knowing. From the pain of ignorance to the joy of knowledge.  From dark to light.

This  experience will stay for ever in your mind. You will create an automatic pilot helping you stay in the center of things at all times. Exactly as with your knowledge of how to ride a bicycle. You will never have to relearn it.  Renew it yes, but not relearn it.  And to renew it you will count on the tools you will already  have.

To do this work you have to understand what Albert Einstein really meant when  he stated “Knowledge is only experience” . We have to start aligning your thoughts to the idea that there are not good or bad experiences. Just experiences to live fully,  created by us and open to be recreated with the same mechanisms they were created. Repetition and information. In other words, the repetition of knowledge.

So, since we need to change the way we think,  and you need guidance with that, I identified  7 pillars of fundamental principles that need to be reviewed, re invented and aligned in the inventory of your thoughts to your  life purpose. The new foundation of your thinking.

The 7 pillars, the antidotes to the virus of the  mind.  Competition, separation, scarcity and fear. They are the  foundation to the new Mindset. Cooperation, community, abundance and passion. The fundamentals  of “The Hawk Mindset”.  They are module 2 in the program: Acknowledgment, truth, judgment, error,  fear  clarity and self responsibility.

So, WHY the Hawk Mindset?

It all started when I was collaborating with Ari Galper at Unlock the Game, coaching his  members.  Ari Galper’s amazingly human and genius 21st C Sales Coaching Program delivered in a magnificent coherent sequenced language based on trust at the human level incorporating the truth to the sales equation. How refreshing!

It became evident very rapidly that  just speaking the coherent and sequenced language Ari created for his UTG  members would not be enough for success in many people’ cases.  Because it is not enough  to speak  it . You have to think it and feel it before to reach your goal as a marketer to actually connect with your prospect at the human  level and are able to set the stage  to build trust with the truth. It requires a mindset shift on your part…

( We all have too many years thinking backwards in automatic pilot to be reversed)

It was then when I understood  that while the language is quite  important and I was so excited about  Ari’s content,  your thoughts being  the motor and direction of your full potential are crucial.  If you don’t mean it, it doesn’t mean anything. It is necessary to align the language with the thoughts and the feelings to actually convey the required message. Believe it or not  in my opinion that is a desperately needed training.

Unlock the Game Members  were mostly entrepreneurs, financial advisers,  insurance agents, internet marketers. network marketers. It was challenging to help them in 2,008  with the depression, the way the debacle of the economy started to unravel.  They needed serious help and a high dose of   innovative creativity to reconnect with an extremely skeptical marketplace.

For some people The Internal Dialogue needed to be reviewed in order to achieve their goals, actually articulating their authenticity through feeling and thinking the new language. Not only speaking it.

It’s not like you decide you’ll be authentic one day and voila, you are authentic. It requires the very nature of authenticity. Thinking, feeling and speaking it.

Ari supported me in the extra effort of  starting slowly introducing  them to the  mechanism needed to harness their thoughts to work for them instead of them.   The mechanism I have been applying for years. He trusted me to research with his members. I’ll be for ever grateful.

So, how does it work and foremost why the hawk?

Well, because the first step for success is to a is to monitor your thoughts . To monitor as many obsolete thoughts as possible. Obsolete thoughts are the ones that are irrelevant to the present time. More likely they are an emotional attachment from the past, an emotional attachment not allowing you to move forward as an adult. Serious!

So I would say to my clients:

“The first step to make sure you can succeed at  harnessing your thoughts  is to monitor them…like a hawk“. They are creating your reality at will every minute of every day for you. You need a hawk if the task is to monitor as many thoughts possible…

That is the story of  how the hawk’s role as the guardian of my own thoughts and my friends and clients thoughts,  was transferred to  the title of my newly developed  program. It was Michelle Finnegan, my coaching buddy at UTG and former UTG GM who suggested it. I had discussed  with her the image of  the hawk and she loved the powerful symbolism. “Why don’t you name the program after the hawk” she said in one of the multiple conversations we had over the last 3 years. I loved it! She was so right! It deserved the recognition because without the attributes that you  model  from the hawk you are not able to make it.  Simple as that. You need a fearless partner with keen vision to catch as many thoughts as possible. :::))) That is the secret.

The Hawk also reminds you never to disconnect from nature again.

For the ones of you who don’t know anything about “The Hawk Mindset”,  IT IS A Transformational Training for Entrepreneurs who want to become “Thought Masters” and harness their thoughts to work for them instead of against them securing success in their business.  The program is divided in 3  fundamental  modules.

Module 1: “Thought/Heart  Mastery”  The science of  thoughts and feelings and the mechanism to align your hearts and feelings

Module 2“The Seven Pillars of Thought, the Foundation of the Mindset”

Revaluation of 7 universal principles: Truth, Acknowledgment, Fear, Judgment, Errors,  Clarity, Self Responsibility.

Module 3 :  “Your Inner Child in charge of your Internal Visionary Team”

To never forget again the creativity codes of your right brain hidden in your own  Inner Child and guide your way back to Love Unity and Cooperation.

My purpose is to inspire you to reconnect with  your Inner Driving Force by helping create your Internal Visionary Team. You see, as entrepreneurs we need a Visionary Team. It just makes sense to start with creating your  Internal Visionary Team first. How is a dissociated person inside going to have a coherent Visionary Team outside without associating the dissociated inside first. Think about it…

So the idea is to create an internal trinity. The  hawk model sitting @ your left hand and your Inner Child sitting @  your right hand. Yes, visualize it. For once  acknowledging that it is not about the right hand or the left hand only any more….it is about incorporating both hands…both brains…the left and the right represented in your hands. Acknowledging the importance of both…makes sense?  How does it feel…? In other words,  Your Inner Child in charge of your Internal Visionary Team and the Hawk model the guardian of your Thoughts.

As I was saying, Module 1“Thought Masters”, actually empowers you to train yourself  to become a Black Belt Thought Master.

The beauty is that the hawk has a lot to teach you.


Because the Hawk IS Messenger, protector, visionary, has keen vision, and is open to new ideas.

So, AGAIN,  reinforcing my original visual with the Hawk as the Guardian of your Thoughts within the program to help you monitor them, led me to  go a step further and  incorporate the hawk in  the title. After the name was decided,

the first thing I did was the keyword research of the word “hawk” and found the collective consciousness revealed something far more interesting than I expected. Just google the word “hawk” and you will find a lot of meaningful conversation along with 167.000.000 hits.

It feels to me a lot of people other than me are having a conversation with  hawks these days…(huge smile) after all, people are awakening to the fact that we are all one and any perception of separation is an illusion. The interesting thing is that I hear more and more persons who are fascinated by the hawk’s message and the numbers seem to be growing…it almost feels like  hawks as a species are on a mission to give us a message and we are finally open to receive its call. I love it!

In any case it  is time to go back to the basics…Primitive cultures modeled animal behaviors, and transformed certain animals into totems. Powerful symbolism has come in the form of animals and their behaviors throughout thousands of years, transforming them in our teachers.   There is a reason for that. Contrary to the across the board educational system,  we human beings learn through modeling behaviors, not by being lectured. We human beings are one with nature…there is no separation.

Nature is a symphony of knowledge singing before our eyes.  Ready to be read all over again.

The Hawk happens to be the ultimate model to help integrate the right brain and the left brain. In other words to integrate a clear perception of the big picture, critical thinking, and co-creative spirit into your thinking, feeling and speaking. At all times.

Here are a list  of 12 excerpts coming  from different voices  of different people and their perception of the lessons the hawk brings us and about  why  the Hawk’s sacred message to us is important to be modeled and feels so organic:

1) Keen vision is one of its greatest gifts. Hawks see things others miss.

2) The hawk comes to you indicating that you are now awakening to your soul purpose, your reason for being here. It can teach you how to fly high while keeping yourself connected to the ground.

3) As you rise to a higher level, your psychic energies are awakening and the hawk can help you to keep those senses in balance. Its message for you is to be open to hope and new ideas, to extend the vision of your life.

4) The Hawk is an animal of flight. It soars through the air looking down, and sees everything. It has a larger perspective of what is going on down below. With its keen eyesight, it looks down as it soars through the air looking for its prey. It can see the smallest of creatures below.

5) The Hawk is known as a messenger, similar to the planet Mercury, for the hawk soars close to the Grandfather Sun, as does the planet. When you listen to the power of the Grandfather Sun or Wise Spirit that lives within, you are protected from all types of harm.

6) The Hawk teaches you to be observant and take a close look at your surroundings. It soars with the power to overcome difficult situations. It soars in circles over the life of the earth, asking you to circle over your life and view it from a higher perspective.

7) The Hawk has a distinct cry, one that most people are aware of. Its cry signifies awareness. If you hear the cry of the hawk use your intuitive ability to discern the message and seek the truth.

8) If a hawk has soared into your life, you require a higher perspective. You need to see the details of what is going on and look at the bigger picture. Take a look at your situation from above.

9) Specifically, the hawk beckons us to hone our focus on the areas that are out of balance in our lives. Recognition is the first step to solution.

10) Furthermore, the hawk is a solar animal which makes it kin to all the attributes summed up by fire and sun. Attributes such as brilliance, clarity, energy, and unification.

11) In Dreams , hawks represent our yearning for freedom and clarity and is often considered a message from the subconscious to use our intellectual power to obtain the freedom we desire in our lives.

12) The hawk asks us to be aware of the power each of us has over others. Further, we must each respect our potential positions of authority (leadership) and honor all those with whom we interact.

Again, these are statements that I selected because they represent your voice. Each one from a different site.

You get the idea ? These excerpts although  somewhat reiterative, portray the clarity of the idea and how the hawk’s message is penetrating the collective consciousness.

Because of all of those powerful reasons, “The Hawk Mindset” was born…The Hawk will  help you align your left brain with your right brain. Harnessing your thoughts to work for you instead of against you. I tell you, I have done it. With myself  first and also with numerous people. The beauty is that once most of your determining  thoughts, feelings and language  are aligned within yourself, to work for you, you become the hawk.  His behavior transpires in your actions. Like with Shakespeare after a mindful rehearsal period of Hamlet…You become Hamlet. You are ready for Opening Night. Now  you are trained to assert the Hawk’s attributes… It was one training away:

  • Attention
  • Vision
  • Power
  • Energy
  • Leadership
  • Intensity

They are all yours! Congratulations, You have become a Black Belt Thought Master running automatically in your Internal Visionary Team guided by your friend the hawk who helped you understand the oneness of all things and to associate the dissociated inside out. That is why the Hawk is a necessity as your left hand.

I bet  by now you are probably thinking, “ok that is the hawk but what’s up with  your right hand then…?  Why Your Inner Child ?”

Are you looking for money? Think twice.

Yes?  Think twice.

If you are focusing on the money, chances are you are missing the purpose. No matter what your need is.

Years ago I read a book which title was: “Do what you love and the money will follow”. In a nutshell it is true.  Easier said than done though. You actually need a little bit more than just loving. The thing is that if you are focusing on the money, you are missing the love, which is the purpose, in spite of the fact that you have been taught not to mix business with love :) .

After a lifetime of research in the human thought, I found that there are two types of money. The sustainable and the unsustainable one.

Let me elaborate. It is clear that 100% of the millionaire minds  who were able to make  Sustainable money were focusing on the love< the service< the  passion to contribute  < the value>>> The millionaires  who were able to make  Unsustainable money were focusing on the money. They missed the love, the service, the passion to contribute,  especially the value,  and they are falling apart before your eyes. If not think of  Wallstreet. I still remember their  arrogance displayed in the eighties. Or  look at every single traditional institution starting with the corporations and  their competitive capitalism that turns people into numbers.

Unsustainable money falls… like every single empire .

If you can weave your  idea focusing on your passion to contribute, leading your train of thought, followed by the love, the service and the value, the money will follow.  Best of all, you will have planted a solid foundation of value…not a house of cards. Best of all, you didn’t miss the purpose.

So! If  you are looking for the money, think twice.

Selling money is a double edge sword. In the long run, people will not apply the product or service you  are selling because they are stuck focusing on the money, in other words  the outcome, not the value or the process!

Let me elaborate…

In a nutshell,  I am a Thought Master… An Authority in Thoughts. I studied the human mind for a lifetime, researched the CRUCIAL field and science of thoughts in depth in relationship with marketing and the new business mindset for the last 4 years,  24/7  and the bottom line is reflected like a mirror  in the above title.

Transform your left brain into a hawk training  your thoughts  to partner 50/50 with your Inner Child, and the creativity of your right brain to become unstoppable in your purpose.

In other words, become a Black Belt Thought Master. An Expert in harnessing your thoughts to work for you, not against you.

After 4 years of developing my own comprehensive trans formative thought training program I can finally say that the whole  vision is condensed in the above  title and the 3 following paragraphs…


I inspire Entrepreneurs  to train themselves to copy and paste” the model of a butterfly by breathing transformation.


Train themselves  to “copy and paste” the model of the Hawk Mindset to optimize their left brain, and…



partner with their Inner Child who is to hold and manage the passion and creativity of  their right brain, 50/50 in the magic middle line, where the expansion of  their Internal Visionary Team takes place.


I believe with all my heart in that quote of Albert Einstein that says: “We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.”   I believe with all my heart that aligning your thinking to work for you instead of against you in this time and age is imperative.


The huge 80% failure in small businesses comes straight from the thinking frequency you are vibrating. Therefore, getting on with your thoughts is needed not today. Yesterday!

The only truth is that while you feel helpless your thoughts are creating your reality as we speak and there are a lot of thoughts in that process that simply do not belong to you, you see?  So there is no time to waste. You have 2 choices.

  1. Train your Thoughts to work for you. Kiss the pain of dissociation good bye.
  2. Or maintain the status quo.  Be the victim of Thoughts creating your reality that are not working for your benefit. …Those have to go, darling! Besides they are not even yours.

Here is to you and your success thinking, feeling  and speaking the language of the heart. And activating the magnet of your heart.

With a hawk as your  left hand and your Inner Child as your right hand ready to unite and partner supporting  your Internal Visionary Team for success in your business. Associating the Dissociated Inside Out.

“The Hawk Mindset” A “Thought Masters” Transformational Training

What is it?

My newly developed program.

But let me tell you the story…It happened in facebook  as so many other things happening  dispersed within thoughtful and soulful facebook threads.

My fb friend Dalia ElGabaly gets in my chat box to say “hi”  and touch base, as many other times before when we talked about our mutual projects in life purpose.  We are pretty much on the same page. She is the first Arab woman to bring NLP to the Arab countries I profoundly admire her.  She has been telling me for a while now,  while I have been working  in creating my program,  that she wanted to translate it  into Arabic as soon as it was ready. We have  been exploring on several ideas to work together in the near future.

Now I have her in my chat box. Excited about the news, I tell her that the program map, is ready to go and in the editing  process. After a few minutes of chatting she asked me the question: “What is the name of the program?”  I stopped, thought for a moment  and remember  how the name of the format came from a thread from facebook.  “Co-Creative Circles of Coherence”  mastermind groups to consciously connect and combine intelligence. Remember? It was my facebook  friends who helped me come up with a concept for the mastermind groups. Right then is when I realized I had done everything to launch the program except think of a name for it.  It made me laugh!

I don’t remember what I answered to Dalia, but soon we went on with the situation about Egypt and her involvement in the revolutionary process…as everything she does it was a  fascinating revolutionary experience.

So, after we finished chatting, as you can imagine,  she left  me with the need to find the name, PRONTO.  Prior to this incident with Dalia, I  had a conversation with Michelle Nixon, my partner and friend about “The Hawk”.  Michelle had said she loved the visual and the word hawk in the title. After all, the hawk is an important component of the program.  It happens that the first step  is to assign a hawk to watch your thoughts…A Hawk provides a powerful symbolism to our equation.  I love what Susannah  @ “Divine Sparks”  has to say about that symbolism.

Here it is…you will understand how powerful it is to have a hawk as a model and on your side.

I am so grateful to Michelle for seeing  the need to bring our hawk to the title. She definitely has the “Hawk” mindset.  After giving it a little thought, the name came up: “Hawk  Mindset”  A Thought Master Training for Entrepreneurs. It came up on March 23rd. 2011.

Therefore my friends, after 4 years of research and a lifetime of conscious experience in the field of the thoughts, I am proud to share the name of  “The Hawk Mindset” program soon to be launched and the story behind it with you. You all are participants of this journey.

So what is the “Hawk Mindset”?

It is an experimental experiential program consciously connecting and combining information to inspire the Art of the Cooperative Entrepreneur mindset, divided in 3 modules.

  1. “Thought Masters” (I know you are thinking “what’s up with the hawk” ). To become a “Thought Master”, the first step is to assign a hawk to monitor your thoughts.  Thought Masters  know how to use  the power of their thoughts to work for them instead of against them.  To get there, they need keen vision to monitor. The Hawk becomes your left hand.
  2. “The Seven Pillars of Thought, the Foundation of the Mindset. Acknowledgment-Truth-Fear-Judgment-Error-Clarity-Self Responsibility”. An in depth review of the pillar concepts in your mind to align them to the same vibration of your heart.
  3. “Your Inner Child, head of your Visionary Team.” Incorporate your Inner Child in your life.  Your right hand. Recover and remember your right brain attributes, creativity, innovation, community collaboration, critical thinking and more. Your Inner Child will make them work for you. He will become the motor of your passion to contribute.

In other words, when you create your Internal Visionary Team, those are the two most important parts of yourself you need to remember. The hawk and your Inner Child will take you anywhere you envision going. Your left hand and your right hand in partnership.

I will never claim I know more than you about your journey. I acknowledge your journey as your journey, I can only guide you to find your own answers within yourself.

  1. I pledge I will tell you the truth and nothing but the truth at all times. The best part is it  it will come in a straight forward way without any judgment.  I believe with all my heart that “Knowledge is only experience” as Albert Einstein stated. There is not such thing as good and or bad experience. They are all wrapped up in the gold leaf of  knowledge. Both.
  2. I pledge everything that is happening in your life now is perfect.  Because it is your story. I will help you acknowledge and embrace who you are now, so that you can move on to what you choose to be. Accept your humanity. It is the only way to expedite the process.
  3. I pledge to reveal the real meaning of “Your enemy is your Master” the icon quote from  Buddah. We’ll identify  and  reevaluate together the gifts your enemy, he or she whoever it is,  left  your way. You are not aware of how  much value for you  is hidden in your enemies actions.
  4. I pledge to help you see that what you already have, believe it or not,  is the foundation where we will build what you need.  What you already have will be the blueprint and  the starting point of your wholeness. You will experience the The power of your wholeness for the first time in a long time.
  5. I pledge I am here to help you remember 100% of your integrity,  so that you can fulfill your purpose and ignite your passion to create and contribute.
  6. I pledge that I will never jump to conclusions and fast forward without letting you completely articulate your piece, and thoroughly evaluate the facts first.
  7. Having said all that, since I am only human, I pledge to you, I will be grateful if you call me on it in the event  that at any moment I am not being true to myself and expressing any behavior that doesn’t resonate with this pledge, or shows I am not walking my talk in any way shape or form.

Fear, Entrepreneurship and Thoughts.

I am here watching Chilean TV,  I am fascinated with the miners crusade. At the same time, I am working  in the computer figuring out how to engage you guys at a deeper level…and facing the fear involved in the process of building trust, invading the lack of knowledge,  the unknown territory.

Definitely the antidote for fear is knowledge…information.

Last week Neal Worthington and I spoke about “Fear” in our blogtalk radio program. “Passing the Torch of Sustainability to Millennials” . We chew on how our self belief is buried in so many layers of mind thinking and speaking, instead of heart thinking and speaking. How hard it is to awake the cells in our bodies that don’t believe in ourselves and let them sing the keynote of our existence in somewhere in the song of creation.

How building trust is a step at the time process. Taking carefully and mindfully layer by layer that is interfering with the ONENESS of all things away. Like pealing an onion, crying in the process. Crying for the pain of the loss and the joy of the gain.

How this process has a sequence, like every process in nature that cannot be rushed. A pear is ripe when it is ripe, and a child will walks when it walks.

How the face of fear visited me every step of the process, and how I had to confront it and start the conversation.  How more and more, makes sense that the fear of the new is overcome by repetition. Rehearsal, study and ultimately knowledge. like learning to ride a bicycle. Once you learn it, you master it for life.

How feeling the fear out loud,  is such a liberating experience, it creates coherence and resonance. Because we are not the only ones who are afraid. We all are afraid. Afraid of the illusion of not knowing, or making mistakes. Or the illusion that the result is the only important thing, neglecting the richness of the process.  See how crazy it is? How are you going to learn without trial and error. Why would mistakes then would be such a sacred cow. Pure nonsense. I tell you.

When you are riding your passion and you are doing that thing called your purpose, they both shine through the fear of the new. Time after time, trial after error, until you become a master of the craft. Then the illusion of fear will be only a memory in the past.

Neal asked me to please listen to the program  last week. The truth is I was so afraid that couldn’t listen to the previous one. I did. And yes, you can tell I am afraid here. However, the message gets across in spite of the limited vocabulary produced by the tension of the new.

An Entrepreneur has to start by working with fear rather than allowing fear to take over. That can only be overcome by understanding that it is only normal to be afraid and all you have to do is look at fear in the eye, confront it and conquer it. Through repetition, the same way it was inserted in your mind when you lost your innocence as a child. Repetitively.

I haven’t been writing too much on the blog lately…I have been very busy with the marketing,  giving the last touch ups to my offer. Also, working on exciting projects with some facebook friends. Melissa Allison and Ani Kaspar.

After my lifetime research of the human mind and behaviors, as many of you know, I decided to focus in the Entrepreneur Mindset. Simply because small businesses fail at a rate of 8O% within the first 5 years.

I believe with all my heart that to turn that figure around we need to start aligning our thoughts and start THINKING like Entrepreneurs. There is no other way. When you align your thoughts, your brain takes about 30 days to acquire the repetitive message,  shifting the thinking and modifying the behaviors.

…And “Fear” is the first thought/feeling  you have to work with. To succeed in business you have to be able to use the fear to your advantage. Not against you. By accepting it first.

It is as choice, and a fundamental one if you want to succeed in business.

At the same time I have been thinking that it makes sense to start a diary on Soul Hangout, about my story as an Entrepreneur.  How everything started.  What were the thoughts behind the story. What are now the thoughts behind the story. “Living in the Present is History in the Making”.

So… stay tuned to hear about how it all began with my own the Inner Child,  meet Grace.  How it all began on January 27 2007.  It will be in chapters. That way you will not have to read too long.  That way you wand I will look forward to the next day.  To the  ongoing Entrepreneur thinking like an Entrepreneur story.

And don’t forget “Fear” is the first illusion you need to  eradicate from your thinking if you want to be a successful Entrepreneur.

It is  about visionary power and guardianship, the hawk is very protective of the young in its nest.  It teaches us about providing for family and self.   Hawk teaches us to be observant and to pay attention to what we may overlook. Well, we talked about the hawk your guide, and now is time to review the attributes of your second partner. Your Inner Child.

Here are her attributes…He/She represents your right brain. Your right brain is the chamber of your Creativity,  your Critical thinking, and your Passion to Contribute in Community, to name a few.

Here are 3 interesting sites with information about the 21st C mindset in business and the importance of your right brain attributes muscle to be exercised.

You see, because the truth is,  you are the master or your own journey, and integrating those elements within yourself, will be the mechanism that will make procrastination, your worse enemy,  the paralysis to action, become a memory in the past.

The attributes of the right brain are: Random – Intuitive –  Holistic –  Synthesizing –  Subjective –  Looks at wholes. Isn’t that exactly what you need to access inside.

Here is the sacred answer. Become a “Thought Master with the assistance of your guide the Hawk and your acknowledged and honored Inner Child”.  I assure you. United, you and your inner child are UNSTOPPABLE. It’s  like the other half orange that makes the whole that you have been longing for,  for life. I know that. I remembered…after a lot of research, the amnesia faded away, like an old shadow, with no purpose…

And I couldn’t live dependent, useless and without purpose for one more day, not for one more minute. Even if it meant losing “loose” material things.

So, Why do we do it?  The attributes of the right brain are the attributes of the Inner Child. The only one who have those necessary codes for you, is the Inner Child. The source of the right brain.

You need an Internal Visionary Team operating from the core of your thoughts and feelings.

Let me elaborate a little bit

  1. Your God/dess given creativity lies in the health of your Inner Child. You need all   your creativity back because you want to fulfill the mission you came here for. ( I know, it sounds weird to see yourself as on a mission. It is only because you  forgot you are on a mission, an important mission, I may add.)

  2. Your lost innocence lies in the divine codes of your Inner Child. You need your   innocence back, so that you stop judging yourself and doubting yourself and others.

  3. Your capacity to forgive lies in the Inner Child because in the end, he/she will tell you that there is nothing to forgive. As long as you recover more of your emotional integrity  with each experience.

  4. Your parent skills lie in your capacity to acknowledge your Inner Child because a healthy Inner Child will help you stop passing pervasive behaviors through to  the next generations. That is your mission as a parent.

  5. Your capacity to play lies in the divine joy of your Inner Child. You need that   capacity back. Life is about playing, don’t let anybody tell you otherwise. You know it is true. Nothing wrong with having fun at work. On the contrary. Sustainable productivity can come from it.

  6. Your complete comfort with the truth at all times, lies in the Inner Child. It is the Inner Child who  will reassure you that it is safe to tell the truth. It is safe to be you. Furthermore, it is necessary to honor who you really are!

  7. Your capacity to cooperate in oneness comes from the divine connection of the Inner Child to Divinity. You need that because you lost it with the first thought of competition, and we all know how bad it hurts that one in your stomach. In oneness there is no separation nor competition.

Are we the Baby Boomer generation going to stand up for our children the Millennials?

Morning Torch by McAzade (I love the idea of changing the concept of a torch to this morning torch.)

Are we, the Baby Boomer generation going to finally stop, think, and listen to what Millennials are trying to tell us?

Are we going to do what our parents couldn’t do which is stand up for our children and be open to the perception of the world they have and learn from it instead of dismissing it as  non viable?

Are we going to seriously reflect and take responsibility for our part in this dissociated world we created and set the record straight with our children?

Ar we going to surrender to that new unknown world that we are co-creating  and admit with humility that our children understand it a lot better…

Are we going to be brave enough to apologize to our children for making such a mess and mainly for throwing the real values of life  out the window?

Are we going to pass the torch of wisdom…or are we going to once again pass the torch of judgment.

Are we going to make an effort to see the big picture the way they do?

I tell you…They hold the keys of the future. Be aware.

We better start rethinking what ADD, ADHD, and even Autism really mean to us. You may not know that underneath each of our ADD or ADHD or Autism prescription there is a genius trying to tell us you are not listening to their actual needs. Their needs are a very important thing. They should be a priority.

Check out this video with an in depth analysis of myths created around millennials  that have nothing to do with them. They have all to do with the perception of the previous generation about them. That’s the Baby Boomers. Shame on us… for being the propagators of these myths.

Please check this out. It will help a lot in the process of understanding millennials behaviors and their noble motives. I myself, as a 60 years old woman, take my hat of this demographic group, my kids generation, for remaining sane in this warfare environment we have created for them and above all for not putting up with our BS.

That is the choice we have to take. More of the same? or a new world led with passion, cooperation, non competition that can benefit from the insights of all of our experiences in a 4 seasons Vivaldi style combined with hip hop, rock, salsa and so many more in between.

The dark secrets of Sales, only for Sales Professionals

I have done sales all my life. It was the best way of making good money for a people’s person who didn’t finish College.

Cold calling always felt intrusive, awkward and imposing. Who was I to interrupt some body’s routine to use my product to obtrude people without any consideration to their needs or wants. It just didn’t feel right. The question crossed my mind numerous times. “Isn’t there another way? The same answer came back every time. “No, there is no other way and it’s never going to change. You better accept it.” I was only able to tweak some parts of the script…not without feeling guilty for going against the laws of the gods of the establishment.

However, you know that no matter how much your left brain tries to convince your right brain, that you have to deal with rejection, keep resisting and objecting your prospect, to make a living, deep down inside there is a part of you that will never swallow it, stop whining about it, get used to it or shut up.

Then there is the dirty word defining sales . The derogatory stereotype we helped develop with our actions following others directions against our gut…

It’s the dark side of sales. On the other hand I loved the relationship I had with my existing clients. I am a people’s person. That’s the beautiful side of selling, and the freedom…

To illustrate the stereotype, I’ll tell you a story…

The other day, I received a call. One of those “get- on – guard, – or- you – are – going -to -get – screwed” calls. The ones that feel like a trap, you know, no way out….it was a telemarketer. A woman.

You are in the comfort of your home, minding your own business. Suddenly, somebody ‘s flair of contempt for you the “prospect” interrupts , in the hopes you are going to buy something, because you are supposed to be the lucky number of a lottery ticket and today, maybe she hits the jackpot by catching you distracted on a Tuesday afternoon.

You are supposed to stop your entire life, “ipso facto”, and focus on this thing, with which you will not be able to live without, after the call. Hopefully without thinking. Because she is not interested in the least in finding what you think or if you really need or want the thing.

If you object too much, there is hell to pay. Your free will to say no doesn’t count.

And they call you the decision maker

Well, back to the call, she starts (I don’t remember her name) talking about some product that I apparently subscribed to in the Internet. I don’t remember a thing. But what’s new, I have too many things on my mind lately, I wouldn’t be surprised she is right. So, by virtue of the benefit of the doubt, some curiosity and an impetus to study the call, I prepare myself to give her some of my time. We chat for a little while.

Before I know, she is giving me instructions: “Urging” me to read the website in 45 minutes and then she’ll call me back. Now I am getting homework from somebody I have never seen in my life, with clear time slots asigned to my next 45 minutes.

Anything else!? Yes, there is more.

“I am not interested” I say for the second time.

Now, she is ready for the kill. “So, you have managed to waste not only my time but also yours with this call… #$&?! I am supposed to sit in a corner with a donkey hat…shame on me.

I am not in the mood to say anything else. I want to go back to my work. “If you feel you wasted your time, I am sorry,” I simply say and hang up…it’s not really her fault she is following “procedure.”

And we call it sales.

Urgency? The denomination of the word is “to exert an impelling force. Push vigorously.” My perception of the word urgency goes more along the lines of rushing a kid to the hospital with a broken nose, a friend who needs help, or Dan Kennedy giving a free Tele Seminar. Dan Kennedy is a force. A cold call? You decide.

What does it say about us! Buyers and Sellers… we are playing a game that looks more like the dysfunctional
behavior of an immature, pathological adult!

Unlock the Game of Sales

Then, in the sales corporate arena, feels almost like you as a Sales Executive, are supposed to leave your humanity every morning sitting in the back seat of your car at the parking lot of your office building. Then, put on your little robot costume, tidy and folded in a Ralph Lauren bag, waiting in the darkness of your trunk, to be wore all day matching a disconnected script to be recited with all the enthusiasm you can muster.

Asking anybody to dissociate from themselves that way for 8 or more hours a day is nothing but unhealthy. And that’s only the human side of it.

On the business side, your work is to interrupt people 100% of your time, with the purpose of getting 20% results. It’s a numbers game.

You are guessing, not targeting.

A story by Christian Andersen. “The little match girl,” comes to mind.
A little girl trying to survive the freezing cold of a Russian winter night, with a box of matches; she is found
dead the next morning because she was so captivated by the hallucinating illusion coming out of each match she lit, that she didn’t think she could build a fire to survive.

Every match stayed only in her imagination, not in her reality. A fleeting star. Bright and short. A dream
without action.

Plus, let’s not forget, that part of the 20% of your sale, (you may want to estimate a percentage) comes from the prospects objected with enough force with your narcissistic script to give you an adrenaline high.

You know. You feel it in your stomach. “How long is that client going to remain in your client base?” You know how it feels to buy under pressure. Most of the time you want to get rid of the damn thing and feel cheated. Not a good scenario for a long term business relationship.

At least not like those old fashioned mom and pop businesses. You see them occasionally making a great living for everybody involved. They all have worked together for 30 years. Their coworkers are their extended family. Their clients are their friends. I assure you, those ones were not built under pressure.

Dan Kennedy tells the story of the richest car sales person he has ever met in his glorious marketing career. It is somebody who has his cubicle in the dealership where he works, covered from top to bottom with his clients and clients’ family members pictures. A human relationship building testimonial. He treats his clients like human beings. Not numbers.

And they call it your client base…

Using urgency with Cold calls, while in the lead generation stage of the process? You are in the freaking cold, with a match box. Captivated by the deceiving illusion of the ephemeral light. Until you run out of matches. You are not building a fire.

Maybe that’s why they are called cold calls. Cold as a winter night in Russia.

Now, that’s your good base. Let’s talk about the other 80%. You follow up with a percentage of the “prospects” who reluctantly told you to send them information only because they didn’t want to hurt your feelings by telling you the truth. They are not interested. Period. Most likely your information will end up in the trash can.

So you keep following up those ones, using some of your precious time hopelessly believing the lies designed to not hurt your feelings… they are not a fit for you…but cannot say it out loud. Aren’t we adults enough to deal with the truth?

Wouldn’t it be better to know the TRUTH ASAP and use the time finding new more fitted clients for your product?

And we call it business…

It’s a dysfunctional business practise. Sometimes seems difficult to believe CEO’s and managers who came up with these “machista” ideas about sales tactics have sold a dollar in their lives.

However, since the only constant thing in life is change, some practices are designed to end. Repeated interruption with no respect for the prospect can only go so far. Is “contra natura.”

That’s the difference between a technique and a principle. A principle is perennial. It is proven to be true in a
timeless way. Sales on the basis of a principle rather than a technique not only are more productive, they also restore the image we all have about sales.

Of course, change is difficult for all of us. It is hard to exchange your comfort zone for the unknown .

Perry Marshall, the genius marketing guru says the old way of selling is: “Obsolete. Dead. Ancient Technology. Irrelevant. It’s like vynil records, 8 track tapes, carburators and Disco.” He also asks the question: “Do you want to be an unwelcome pest or a welcome guest?”

*Did it ever occur to me to think about ways I could develop a relationship of trust in which we could explore what issues and problems they were trying to solve? No.

*Did I ever suggest that, without knowing more about their issues and problems, I couldn’t know whether what I had to offer could help them? No.”

*Did it ever occur to me to ask them, “Where do you think you might want to go from here?” No.

It was at this point that I was finally able to let go of the outrage and rejection and take responsibility for having tried to sell the “wrong” way.

Once I shifted my thinking from focusing on them to focusing on what I was doing, the answers started to come. I realized that the old ways of selling had everything backward. And that freed me to begin thinking about what ultimately became Unlock The Game.”

“They knew I had an agenda for that call, which was to make them buy what I had to sell. I tried to do it by going with my script, developing it, dealing with their “objections,” pushing subtly to move things forward…you know the drill.

Rejection can be eliminated. And up to this point, no one has ever provided a way to do that.

You see, rejection is triggered. It’s triggered by the person selling.

And if they are using anything in their approach (their voice, enthusiasm, or words) that associates them with the “salesperson” stereotype, rejection is automatically triggered.

Diffuse the sales pressure, change your mindset and enter the conversation from their point of view, rejection will never happen, because you’ve done nothing to trigger it. (More on this later…).

When you completely shift the way you think, away from “trying to make the sale”, magical things start to happen. You relax, they relax. You are open, they are open. You are both drawn together by your ability to get out of your world and into theirs.

What the “sales gurus” don’t understand is that “resistance” is a reaction to traditional sales techniques. They’re the ones creating the vicious cycle, and they don’t even know it.”

“Traditional Sales Thinking (when getting the sale is all that matters…)
*Use every technique you can to make the sale
*It’s okay to bend the truth or lie if it’ll make the sale happen
*Go for the “yes.” If you hear a “no,” push and persuade harder to turn it into a “yes.”

The Mindset Approach (when learning your prospect’s truth is all that matters…)
*Create a conversation and build a relationship of trust.
*Focus on finding out whether you can help your prospect solve their problems or issues.
*If you always tell the truth, your prospect will tell you their truth.
*Focus on the “fit.” Create conversation that explores whether you’re a match or not.
